Merits of democracy :- 1.it gives people right to vote 2.it is open of charge 3.it gets the people involved 4. It promoter equality 5. It allows people to voice out their issues Demerits of democracy 1. It opens an opportunity for corrupt officials. Elected politicians will have access to budget for government projects 2.
