Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, GeForce RTX 4060 With Ray Tracing, DLSS 3 Support Launched in India

Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 and GeForce RTX 4060 Ti were launched by the company on Thursday as the company's latest graphics cards built on the current-gen Ada Lovelace architecture . The more powerful GeForce RTX 4060 Ti is available in 8GB and 16GB memory configurations, while the RTX 4060 model is available with 8GB of memory. Both models support Nvidia's deep learning super sampling ( DLSS ) for over 300 games as well as upcoming titles such as The Lord of the Rings: Gollum and Diablo IV. The company says that the new  GeForce RTX 4060 Ti graphics card is 1.7 times faster than the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti model. It is equipped with 8GB or 16GB of GDDR6 video memory, along with 32MB of L2 cache. Meanwhile, the  GeForce RTX 4060 model has 24MB of L2 cache and is available in a single 8GB memory configuration. UK Telecom Firm BT to Cut 55,000 Jobs by 2030 After 5G Network, Fiber Broadband Rollout

British telecoms and television group BT said Thursday it would axe up to 55,000 jobs by the end of the decade to slash costs in the latest tech-sector jobs cull. The layoffs, comprising 42 percent of BT's workforce, come two days after UK mobile phone giant Vodafone unveiled plans to cut 11,000 jobs or one tenth of staff over three years. BT employs 130,000 staff, including contractors. The group will lower this to between 75,000 and 90,000 people over the next five to seven years, it said in a results statement. The grim news follows the axing this year of tens of thousands of jobs across the global tech sector, including by Facebook parent Meta , as soaring inflation saps the world economy. Binance Australia Says Deposits, Withdrawals Disrupted After Third-Party Payment Provider Cuts Off Service

The Australian arm of Binance , the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, on Thursday said some local customers will be unable to deposit or withdraw money after a third-party payment provider cut off its service. Binance on social media said users are unable to make Australian dollar deposits by bank transfer with immediate effect. Withdrawals will also be cut off, it said, without detailing when. "We are working hard to find an alternative provider to continue offering AUD deposits and withdrawals to our users," Binance said in a statement. The Australian Financial Review reported the provider was Westpac Banking, the country's second-largest retail bank. Westpac was not immediately available to comment when contacted by Reuters. It said in an earlier statement that it had blocked some crypto-currency payments to reduce scam loss. It did not identify exchanges nor provide any further details. Google is reportedly working on a feature that will allow phones to be used as dashcams. Usually, a dashcam or a dashboard camera is a compact camera fitted on the dashboard of a car or on the windscreen (behind the rearview mirror). The dashcam records everything in front of the car during a drive and some high-end dashcams enable rearview image capture with the help of a rear-facing lens.
