Tecno Phantom V Fold With MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus SoC Unveiled At MWC 2023: Report

Tecno reportedly unveiled its Phantom V Fold, the first foldable smartphone from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer during the Mobile World Congress 2023 event today. The phone, showcased at the company's booth, is said to be the first left-right foldable smartphone in the world. The smartphone is said to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset. The company revealed that the chipset has an AnTuTu test score of more than 1.08 million. During the same MWC event, Tecno also introduced its newest Chameleon Coloring Technology. The Phantom V Fold is Tecno's first foldable smartphone. Meta is creating a new top-level product group focused on generative artificial intelligence (AI), Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg said on Monday, as the AI race among Big Tech firms heats up. AI has emerged as a bright spot for investments in the tech industry, which has been struggling with slowing growth, and has cut thousands of jobs as well as dialed down on experimental bets to beat the downturn. "We're starting by pulling together a lot of the teams working on generative AI across the company into one group focused on building delightful experiences around this technology," Zuckerberg said in an Instagram post. Snapchat Launches Its Own ChatGPT-Powered Chatbot 'My AI'

Social media firm Snap said on Monday it is rolling out an experimental chatbot feature running on OpenAI's GPT technology for some users of its photo messaging app Snapchat. The feature dubbed as My AI will be running the latest version of OpenAI's GPT technology which has been customised for Snapchat. The AI chatbot will be initially rolling out to Snapchat+ subscribers as an experiment, releasing this week. The social media platform has also requested users to submit their feedbacks to improve the chatbot for future application.  In an official blog post , Snap announced the launch of its experimental AI chatbot that works on the latest version of OpenAI 's GPT technology. Xiaomi Wireless AR Glass Discovery Edition, the company's latest augmented reality (AR) wearable device, was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 at Barcelona. ‘Collaboration Rather Than Replacement’: ChatGPT-Like AI Platforms Won’t Replace Jobs, Says TCS

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) feels generative artificial intelligence platforms like ChatGPT will create an "AI co-worker" and not replace jobs. Milind Lakkad, the chief human resources officer (CHRO) of the country's largest IT services firm that employs over 6 lakh people said such tools will help improve productivity, but not change the business models for companies. "..it (generative AI) will be a co-worker. It will be a co-worker and that co-worker will take time for them to understand the context of the customer," Lakkad said in an interview with PTI recently. The context for a job to be executed will be industry and customer-centric, which will continue to come from the human who is being assisted in tasks by such a co-worker, Lakkad explained. "It is not that jobs will get replaced, but the job definitions will change," he added in the comments which will assuage concerns about future of jobs in the sector which is one of the biggest rec
