Apple has postponed a planned introduction of its first mixed-reality headset from around April to June, according to people familiar with the matter, marking the latest setback for the tech giant's next big initiative. The iPhone maker is now aiming to unveil the product at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the plans are confidential. Apple made the decision to delay the launch earlier this month after product testing showed that both hardware and software issues still needed to be ironed out, they said. The debut of the headset has been a long time coming, with Apple working on the technology since around 2015. Samsung has announced that it is bringing an Apple Watch-style women's health tracker to its Galaxy Watch 5 series soon. The company has partnered with Natural Cycles to introduce temperature-based menstrual cycle tracking. It will be available in the second quarter of the year. Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro users across 32 countries including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland and more will be able to access this feature. According to a newsroom post by Samsung , the Cycle Tracking feature on Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will give users more detailed insight into their menstrual cycle. Snapdragon X75 and Snapdragon X72 were announced by Qualcomm on Wednesday as the company's latest modem-to-antenna solutions. The successor to the Snapdragon X70 modem that featured on last year's flagship smartphones is claimed to be the first in the world to feature support for 5G Advanced connectivity. The new modem is equipped with a dedicated hardware tensor accelerator that offers improved AI performance over its predecessor. It also offers benefits including 10-carrier aggregation for mmWave 5G networks, reduced costs, board complexity, and power consumption, and 5G/4G dual data on two SIM cards simultaneously, according to the company. Qualcomm says the Snapdragon X75 is the first 5G Advanced-ready next-generation modem-RF system that is 3GPP Release 17 and Release 18-ready.
