Pichai Sundararajan most commonly known as Sundar Pichai was born on  July 12, 1972 in

Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India

Sundar Pichai's mother Lakshmi she  was a stenographer and his father, Regunatha Pichai was an electrical engineer at GEC, the British conglomerate. His father also had a manufacturing plant that produced electricalcomponents.

however, Sundar grew up in a two-room apartment in Ashok Nagar, Chennai.Sundar completed schooling in Jawahar Vidyalaya, a Central Board of Secondary Education school in Ashok Nagar, Chennai and completed the Class XII from Vana Vani school. Pichai earned his degree from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in Metallurgical Engineering. He is currently a distinguished alumnus.He holds an M.S from Stanford University in Material Sciences and Engineering, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was named a Siebel Scholar and a Palmer Scholar, respectively.

Pichai worked in engineering and product management at Applied Materials and in management consulting at McKinsey & Company.Pichai joined Google in 2004 and his entry was launched with a free mail service called gmail after getting inducted into google his first big success came after the launch of Google toolbar. sundar was responsible for develipment of Google toolbar. The success of Google toolbar gave Sundar the idea that Google should develop its own browser he dicussed this idea with his seniors and faced a serious objection from then CEO Eric smith who thought that developing a own browser might be too expensive. however Sundar persuaded co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin to launch Google's own browser later Sundar played a main  in the ultimate launch of Google Chrome. In 2008 Chrome roofed to be a great success as it allowed the users to directly access to Google search engine. With this Sunder became an internationally known figure following the phenomenal success of Chrome eventually became the number one browser in the world surpassing compititors like Internet Explorer and Firefox. This also pave the way to the other products such as Chrome OS ,chromebooks and Chrome cast etc.,.  Later in 2008 Sundar Pichai was promoted as the vice president of product development at this position he started appearing more often in Google presentations and continued rising up the ranks in Google by 2012 he became senior vice President of Chrome and apps with  in a year android was handed over to Sundar.  Which is still under Andy rubin. The genius he is. He developed it  into  android one which was the project to provide affordable smartphones for all households inviting another 5 billion users to the Android world and within a short period of time Sundar was promoted to become the head of products in 2014. Which elevated him to be larry pages second in command. Apart from this Sundar had established himself as a public phase of Google and was widely known to be master of ceremonies for Google's annual ceremony. By now Sundar has  attracted a lot of attention from other technology power houses. As the mater of fact he was approached by twitter to come on board as vice president of twitter and later  he was also considered to become the new CEO of twitter. Pichai had been suggested as a contender for Microsoft's CEO in 2014, a position that was eventually given to Satya Nadella. However, he remained a loyal Googler dispite of approached by top tech companies. This was the time when Google's holding company Alphabet Inc, was being prepared. hence, to retain him and him on staff Sundar was announced as the new CEO of Google which is the biggest company under alphabet. He is often considered as the best CEO than Larry page. Today Sundar was valued over $150 million dollars (10,83,97,50,000.00+ Indian Rupee) Google is heading to second most valuable brand in the world which is worth over $85 billion dollars (61,44,22,50,00,000.00Indian Rupee).
